Name: Russetpaw
Age: 8 moons
Gender: Tom.
Rank: apprentice
Clan: windclan
Picture:
Quick Description:
Pale red tom with cool green eyes.
Description:
[this is as an adult XD] He is 26 cm at the shoulder. His tail is normal length and is long haired. His body fur is short but the fur is slightly ruffled along the back and front of his legs and on his chest. His eyes are a dark green, black pupil like normal. His back slops down when he stands normally and his legs are lean, there is muscle in his chest and upper leg. His paws are slightly larger then normal and they are hard and calloused from walking and hunting on the hard ground. His lower lip is white and so it the beginnings of his chest, then it blends into the red color that covers the rest of his body. His tail is red with darker tinges of fur running through to the tip. He has the normal tabby M on his forehead even though he is of Somali descent. There are two thin scars on his nose from when he was an apprentice, he ran through the forest and tripped, scarring himself on a lost branch.
Personality:
[this is as an adult] Hard-working, Russettail always puts his Clan before himself, as is intended by the warrior code. Though you wouldn't expect it from him, he enjoys listening to the stories of the Elders, and play fighting with the kits. A trust-worthy feline, once this tom has you on his good side, you have a steadfast companion who would do anything for you. Well... mostly anything anyway.
Around kits his whole demeanor changes and he becomes lovable and understanding, enjoying any playfight or challenge that comes his way. In battle he changes though, ferociously determined to protect his clan down to the last hair on their pelts he would put his life in front of any impeding danger. His loyalty is unending to his clan but if he feels it necessary he will do what is required not what is right.
Not usually quiet he will put his own words into a conversation and then will listen to all positions. He can be a solitary fellow and can also be a friendly guy but it depends on how well he knows you and how much he trusts you. To outsiders he is not always untrusting but is dutifully cautious.
History:
His mother's name was Rainswallow, his fathers was Russetclaw. He had two siblings but they were stillborn so his brothers became the other apprentices when they had time to play with him. As he reached the 6 moon stage he became more and more excited and always asked the apprentices to show him their cool moves. Named after his father for their similar reddish fur he was always proud of his color even though his parents are both dead. His mother died of greencough and his father was hit by a monster on a thunderpath.
When he became an apprentice his life changed dramatically. The chance to leave the camp was wonderful, to be able to hunt and check borders, he was one step closer to being a warrior. Hunting came easy, crouching and getting the kill came naturally to him it was the fighting that caught him off guard. All the rolls, spins and counter attacks seemed so strategic and hard. Becoming a warrior seemed so far off until he learned but he was determined to get it. The gathering was what made him really try harder, seeing all the other apprentices there who could fight and hunt. He trained harder and so far its paying off. Hunting is still one of his favorite activities to do although he like many others still waits anxiously for the chance at his first battle.
RP Example:
[not my best just typed up now]
His pelt glistened from the falling rain. His light jog did nothing but splash the water up his hind legs causing him to grimace now and again. The mud beneath him squelched and sucked at his paws as he made his way down the trail towards camp. Already he had been slowed by the weather and prey had all gone and hid due to the downpour. Ahead the other cats paused for a moment, getting better holds on their prey and checking to make sure everyone was alright. The rabbit in his jaws was heavy yet he knew he could not stop. If he was to place it in the mud it would be gone for sure, his paws sunk into the mud deeper and deeper with each step yet there was no dry ground yet.
Finally he felt pressure and solidness against his pads, his gait took on more speed as he was able to push himself forwards. Ahead the other warriors had also picked up the pace, he and the she-cat, apprentices, struggled to keep up. The sodden rabbit dripped and sprayed water as he walked yet it was the rain that got in his eyes. The fur along his spine rose as a chill suddenly went down his back. Hissing through his teeth he picked up the pace the she-cat did as well, her breathing was irregular. The sight of the entrance to camp made him almost sigh with relief. The clearing was empty and over the downpour he could not hear anything. Quickly dumping the prey in the pile like everyone else he scampered towards the apprentices den. Ignoring the groans from inside he shouldered his way in, wiping his fur on the pelts around him.
"Russetpaw!" moaned a tom beside him, shaking from the sudden water that Russetpaw had dumped on him. Grinning at his friend Russetpaw quickly began to groom himself, receiving help from others. The rain pattered on the roof of the den but was soon drowned out by comforting purrs of friendship.
